"The Dog Days of
War"
Every summer history repeats itself with the
surrender of U-858. German re-enactors
will once again surrender to allied forces
at Fort Miles, and you can be there to learn
about this historic event first hand!
Weapons demonstrations on the artillery will

Every year the
FMHA hosts an open house to showcase the
amazing restoration progress being made
inside of Battery 519. Admission is
free and there are plenty of members on hand
to answer questions about this massive
project. We hope you'll join us for
lunch and learn more about the effort to
bring this historic structure back to life!
